Cucina Buona in Tempi Cattivi (tr. “Good Cuisine in Bad Times”) is an original play set in WW1 about the journey back home of the Italian cooker and soldier, Guido.
I was in charge of the costumes and set design. As a low budget production with just 4 actors and over 10 characters, we opted for a symbolistic mise-en-scene, where lights played a huge role. As the light designer, I came up with the lighting plan, managing it during the play.
